Who creates the guides
Klintara's dog dental-care guides are published by the Klintara Editorial Team. The team is not presented as a veterinary practice, and a guide is not described as veterinarian-reviewed unless a named, qualified reviewer has actually reviewed it.
How research is checked
Medical and care statements are checked against the sources listed on each guide. We prioritize veterinary organizations and professional guidance, including the American Animal Hospital Association and the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Sources are linked so readers can inspect the evidence and context themselves.
Each guide shows its publication date and the date its sources were last checked. A date changes only after a meaningful content or evidence review.
How AI may assist
AI-assisted tools may help with drafting, structure or editing. They are not treated as a medical source. Factual care claims must be checked against the cited material before publication, and the final page must state uncertainty instead of inventing an answer.
Veterinary boundaries
The guides provide general education, not diagnosis or treatment for an individual dog. Pain, bleeding, loose teeth, swelling, difficulty eating, sudden bad breath or other abrupt changes belong with a veterinarian. Home care supports prevention; it does not replace a professional examination or treatment of established disease.
Product claims stay separate
