Start by checking the paws
After a walk, look at the pads and between the toes. Visible dirt may call for cleaning; pain, injury or irritation needs a different assessment. Do not automatically attribute itchy feet to pollen or food.
Wipe, wash or ask for help?
For light dirt, use a damp cloth or wipes labeled for pets and the intended area. The AKC distinguishes convenient wipe cleanups from washing for heavier messes. Dry paws after washing, including between the toes.
For an unknown chemical exposure, do not assume a wipe or water is sufficient. Contact your veterinarian or ASPCA Poison Control for substance-specific instructions. A grooming wipe is not a poisoning treatment.
Read the intended use
Check the species, body areas, ingredients, directions and warnings on the label. Do not assume a baby wipe is suitable for dogs. If a product requires rinsing, follow that direction. Being fragrance-free or alcohol-free does not by itself establish safety if licked.

Keep the routine calm
- Prepare a suitable cleaning product and a clean towel.
- Inspect the paw and clean gently according to the label.
- Check between the toes and dry after washing.
- Reseal the pack and stop if your dog seems uncomfortable. Seek veterinary help for pain or injury.
When to seek veterinary help
Seek advice for cuts, bleeding, swelling, limping or persistent irritation. Do not scrub a painful area or try to solve persistent symptoms with repeated wiping.
What we have not tested yet
Klintara is in pre-production. We have not published a physical cleaning demonstration or approved-sample performance results. Concept imagery is not evidence of cleaning efficacy. Formula, directions and sample approval remain pending.
Quick answers
How often? Check after walks and clean when needed, following the label and your dog’s needs. There is no single schedule for every dog.
Can my dog lick afterwards? Follow the product directions; do not infer safety from a short ingredient list.
Does this replace bathing? Wipes can help with light dirt. Heavier soiling may require washing and drying.
